It was great to see the turnout at our second information seminar held at the Ingot Hotel in Belmont. It was a really informative night and I am always pleasantly surprised at the variety of questions asked of our MD, John Wood and architect, Richard Hammond about the pros and cons of being a part of our unique lifestyle rental communities.
The seminars are very relaxing and informal way of exploring everything that Providence has to offer and as mentioned, I find the most interesting part of the night is when John opens the floor for some Q&A.
Many of the people were excited about the Providence concept and we now have 30% of our Mandurah community pre-leased.
We also took this opportunity to introduce our second exciting development at Haynes, to the south west of Armadale which also seemed very popular.

Popular designs being added
Please remember that if you missed out on your favourite design, let me know as soon as possible. We are still able to adjust the community plan with different home designs before we lodge our building licence. It’s clear based on the feedback that some of the designs are more popular than others and we will be presenting the updated masterplan at the next seminar.
Additional Community room added to Mandurah
Following on from discussions with a number of people who have preleased, it became evident that the community was short of a muti-purpose community room. I have passed your suggestions back to the board and the masterplan has now been updated to include an additional community room next to the BBQ area in the central park which I’m sure will be really popular with our residents.

Haynes update
The Development Application for our new village at Haynes was lodged on 14 August 2020 and has been referred out to the relevant state government authorities. We are expecting to receive feedback by mid November 2020 with approval anticipated in December 2020.
With the Development Application progressing, an Early Contractor Involvement contract has been entered into with Kastle Group, an experienced Western Australian builder. We will shortly be entering into a building contract and the works should commence in the first quarter of 2021.
Furnissdale update
The Development Application for the village was lodged on 30 September 2020 and initial feedback has already been received from the Shire of Murray which the project team is addressing.
The application will soon be referred to state government authorities and approval is expected in January 2021. Our experienced development team is also liaising with nearby landowners regarding having the sewer extended to the site.
The homes have now been architecturally designed and like Haynes, we have selected Kastle Group as our preferred proponent. We are looking to enter a building contract in November / December 2020, with works commencing in the first quarter of 2021.
