Welcome to our latest newsletter.

The response to our fourth seminar at the Atrium Hotel in Mandurah was massive with 160 people responding in very short time and we had to cap the numbers at 160 which just reinforces the popularity of the concept. However, then the Covid-19 shut down threw a curve ball at us and numbers had to be cut down to 65, so if you missed out, don’t worry as we will be holding another seminar on Sunday the 7th March at the Atrium Hotel in Mandurah, so if you missed out or would like to attend you can book on our website. Bookings are essential.

Again the question and answer segment was very informative and is a great way to learn more and get a feel for what the community will look like, what the design aspirations are, the 20 plus year history that has led us to this point and how the community operates and how it might work for you. Of course, if seminars aren’t your thing, you can always simply call me and I’d be happy to talk you through the details and even visit you to take you through what we have planned and how it works.

In other news we welcome aboard Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort to the Providence Lifestyle group! Piara Waters Lifestyle Resort has been seeking planning approval for several years now and has finally been successful and is going ahead in leaps and bounds.

Piara Waters differs from other Providence Lifestyle Communities in so much as it’s a buy rather than rental community but still has the same wonderful friendly carefree lifestyle, terrific resort style facilities, gated security plus so much more, all in a fabulous and convenient location.

If you would prefer to buy your home rather than rent, then contact Janine Thomas on 0407 048 505 who is taking registrations of interest right now. Welcome Janine and Ella.

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

Haynes update

The Development Application for the Haynes village was lodged on 14 August 2020. Feedback has been received from Development WA and the relevant service authorities which required a number of changes to the plans. The revised plans and further information has been submitted to Development WA. Whilst the development team had previously expected an approval in February 2021, Development WA have recently advised that the application will need to be determined by the Armadale Land Redevelopment Committee and the earliest that they can meet to consider the application is 4 May 2021.

Whilst we are disappointed with the delay in obtaining this approval, the development team is pushing for approval as soon as possible to enable site works to commence in May 2021.

This delay has facilitated the development teams ability refine the details of the streetscapes within the community and a further architectural review of the home designs within the community with updated plans across the range of homes available for long term leases.

Furnissdale (Mandurah) update

The Development Application for the Furnissdale village was lodged on 30 September 2020. The application was referred to state government referral authorities with their comments received in January 2021. Since this time the development team has met with the Shire of Murray to discuss the comments raised by the various state authorities.

The development team has addressed the various comments received and resubmitted updated plans to the Shire in mid February 2021. Whilst the Shire of Murray had initially indicated a decision on the application in February 2021, they have now advised that a decision is likely in March 2021.

The development team is also continuing to progress an agreement with neighbouring landowners in regard to having sewer extended to the site with the details of this agreement now finalised and a legal agreement being executed Detailed civil design has continued to progress and arrangement are being made to soon commence bringing fill to the site. Based on the above we are targeting to commence earthworks on site at the end of March 2021 or early April.

APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE NOW!

I’m pleased to announce that the application forms are now available for download. If you prefer a hard copy just call me on 0411 497 111 and I will mail one to you.

It’s taken us a little while to finalise the application because of the level of detail required for a long-term lease.

This means we have added a few more questions to the form to make sure it’s right for everyone. Please make sure you complete all of questions otherwise we will be unable to process your application.

Once we’ve processed the application, we will be in touch regarding the next step in the approval process.

If you would like to know more about Providence or would like to attend our next seminar, feel free to give me a call on 0411 497 111 or send me an email.

Until next time.
