Welcome to our April newsletter.
On April 10, the Providence team held our most recent information seminar at the Cockburn Health and Community Facility. It’s great to see that there is still a lot of interest in our communities, and we were pleased to see that, yet again, it was another well attended session.
This time around, the seminar was more focussed on our Haynes development near Armadale as well as discussing the differences between our Haynes and Mandurah lifestyle communities. And you know what? Other than the location, it was clear that there is not much difference!
The 13 home designs are the same at both the Haynes and Mandurah lifestyle communities, however there are an additional 12 apartments proposed at Haynes. These apartments are conveniently located above the clubhouse for those wanting extra low maintenance living (with no garden!), but who still want to enjoy the fantastic Providence amenities.
I am excited to announce that on the morning of the information seminar, another 16 homes were snapped up, and 70% of available homes in the Mandurah lifestyle community are now reserved. As you can see, word is spreading and these properties won’t last – so If you want to secure your home, make sure you give me a call.
That said, our Haynes lifestyle community is approximately four months behind Mandurah, and therefore there is still plenty of choice, and any of the available 13 designs can still be secured if you are interested.
If you don’t know Haynes, it’s a bit of a hidden gem of a location with so many conveniences at your fingertips and wonderful facilities and foothill delights to enjoy, definitely worth checking out.

Development Update
Haynes update
Ongoing discussions with Development WA occurred during the month of April and some tweaks were made to the Haynes architectural plans to meet Development WA’s requirements. The development application has also been listed on the Armadale Redevelopment Authority’s agenda for their meeting on Monday 3 May 2021. As it stands, it is recommended that the Committee approves the development proposal and should it be approved as expected, there will be a number of development conditions that need to be met prior to works commencing on site.
Furnissdale update
The Development Application for the Furnissdale village was approved on 12 April 2021 and we are currently working through several conditions in order to commence construction. The application for a clearing permit is progressing with the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, whilst an agreement to use the neighbouring property’s sewer main has now been finalised, subject to execution from both parties. The detailed engineering design for the earthworks and civil works is also progressing concurrently with meeting these conditions.
Operations
We are delighted to be progressing the assessment of all the applications we’ve had and thank you for your patience. We’ve been inundated and getting out to visit everyone is part of our process and that does take some time, so if you’ve submitted your application rest assured we are going through them and will be out to see you soon 😊
To provide you absolute security around the Option Fee, we are using our solicitors trust account to hold your Option Fees as a stakeholder so it is bound by the requirements of the Option Deed itself. In essence this means that we have no access to the money other than as stated in the Deed and gives you absolute peace of mind.
Once your application is approved you will receive a letter from us with the Option Deed to sign and pay the fee to the solicitor and your site and home is secured 😊
